On the whole, Surrey has good digital reception coverage. Most coverage is supplied from the powerful transmitter located at Crystal Palace.

Other digital transmitters include Reigate, Guilford, Midhurst and Hannington.

If reception is not possible from any of the above there are analogue 'gap filler' transmitters that will begin digital transmissions in 2012.

If you have digital terrestrial aerial issues, there is a plan B.  Digital television can be viewed before 2012 as Sky, and now BBC/ITV offer Freesat, a free-to-air satellite service that has 99% coverage.
